COLLAB: Sociedade Filarmónica Ermegeirense

YEAR: 2024

CONTENT: I developed a project in collaboration with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Ermegeira for Halloween, blending music and live visual storytelling. While the orchestra performed, I created scenography with live animation using TAGTOOL, bringing to life stories and legends that have haunted and fascinated the Portuguese throughout history.

These included chilling tales of the Bicho Papão, the Rooster of Barcelos, the Moiras Encantadas, the Witch Laundresses, A Coca, the Empire of the Labregos, the Old Woman with the White Mare, and the Man with the Iron Hat.

It was an immersive experience where music and visual art intertwined, creating a hauntingly beautiful tribute to Portugal’s rich folklore and cultural imagination.
