Galinheiro Criativo, founded by Carlos Roxo in 2020, is a house for creativity and cultural exchange. Located in a small village close to Torres Vedras, Portugal, it offers workshops, residencies, and open days for creative minds to gather and collaborate.

This project was born from the belief in sharing and uniting diverse projects, with the purpose of exploring new horizons, strengthening the decentralized culture and provide a rich array of techniques, perspectives and experiences to everyone that make part of it. This inclusive space welcomes local residents and random people alike, offering diverse thematics such as agriculture, painting, ceramics, music and dance. 

In the most part of the events at Galinheiro Criativo include shared meals because we believe this simple moment of exchange and camaraderie provides an inspiring environment for the flourishing of new ideas and collabs. 

We are constantly seeking new creators who wish to lead workshops for the first time, as we believe that the diversity of ideas enriches our space and contributes to our artistic and personal growth.
