Created by Carlos Roxo, Galinheiro Criativo was born in 2020 inside a winery house located in a small village near Torres Vedras, Portugal. It is a creative studio that connects art with winemaking, offering workshops, art residencies, and open days for creative minds to gather and collaborate.

This project was born from the belief in sharing and uniting different initiatives, aiming to explore a diversity of techniques, perspectives, and experiences in both art with winemaking. We constantly seek ways to merge these two worlds, allowing them to grow together organically.

Our inclusive space reinforces a decentralized culture, welcoming both local residents and international visitors. Here, we promote activities in various fields, such as agriculture, carpentry, ceramics, music, dance, and visual arts, creating unique experiences for all participants.

Most events at Galinheiro Criativo include shared meals, as we believe these simple moments of exchange create an inspiring environment for new ideas and collaborations to emerge.

We are always looking for new creators who wish to lead workshops for the first time or get involved in winemaking processes. We believe that the diversity of ideas brought into our space enriches it and contributes to both artistic and personal growth.
